What permissions are needed to use a celebrity photograph?

If you go onto a website or google then every picture would be copyrighted. You would need to ask the photographers permission to use it. But it is different if the picture has 'creative commons' underneath it. This means that you can use the picture for anything that you wish, that's why the pictures on flikr are used.
If a company use a picture of a model or a celebrity then they company would have to pay the model or agent permission to use the picture. This would mean that the company would have to pay they model and the agent money to use it. Such as, if they use a child to advertise 'to stop the bullying of children' then they would have to pay the child or child's parents for the use of the photo.
If a company was going to use a celebrity to make a commercial advert then they would have to ask the permission of the celebrity, because they may not want to be involved in commercials.

Target audience profile - Jenny Stanley

This is Jenny Stanley. She is 15 years and 11 months old, and lives in Dagenham.
she dresses fairly straight forwardly - just jeans and a nice top. She enjoys sleepovers with her friends, and shopping at the weekends with her pocket money. She shops in places like River Island, Jane Norman, New Look, and sometimes Topshop.
She enjoys films like Mean Girls, Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Twilight Saga, St Trinians, Lee Evans, Mumma Mia, she enjoys watching them at the cinema and also buying them later on DVD and watching them with her friends, and eating popcorn and icecream.
They would watch Friends, Scrubs, X Factor, America's Next Top Model, One Tree Hill. The main channels would be Channel 4; E4; Living Tv; ITV; BBC Three; Comedy Central; VIVA; Sky movies.
The music this girl would listen to would be anything in the charts, varying from pop, hiphop. r 'n' b, indie music - not really a 'rock' or 'classical' or 'dub-step'. Listens to Kiss FM and Radio 1 for the 'chart hits'.
I think my magazine cover would be suitable for this girl because she seems like the type of girl who would want to have a white wedding and has been planning her wedding since she was 10. This shows that my magazine cover can be for any ages, but mainly for girls/women.
